How the Clozapine Test works
Information about your patient’s genetic profile is only a few steps away.
Step One
Call Myogenes on: +44 (0) 20 8387 1266, or fill in your details on the Contact Form to request a test or email us.
Step Two
It is important that the patient does not eat, drink, chew gum, smoke or brush their teeth for at least one hour before completing their sample. When you have the sample, send it to us with the requisition form in the enclosed stamped addressed envelope.
Step Three
Please do not eat, drink, chew gum, smoke or brush your teeth one hour before completing the saliva swab. Place your saliva swab sample and the forms in the enclosed stamped addressed envelope and send it back to Myogenes for processing and testing in the laboratories.
Step Four
We will email the clinician to confirm receipt of the sample. The sample will be sent to the laboratory for testing and when the results are ready, they’ll be sent to clinician via a secure, password-protected link.
Step Five
Our laboratories offer clinicians the opportunity to call and have a discussion with the lab technicians, all highly-trained geneticists and scientists. Clinicians can ask questions concerning the test and obtain help with interpretation of the results.
